The Product Engineer will manage technical projects, support existing production products, perform mechanical calculations, and contribute to developing new and improved components. This role requires strong data analysis skills, precise engineering judgment, and the ability to apply mechanical engineering principles in both office and hands-on environments.
Job Type: Full-time, onsite located in either Sullivan IL or Princeton KY or Huntingdon TN
Salary: Commensurate with experience (includes salary biannual bonus)

What You’ll Do as a Product Engineer
- Manage engineering projects from concept through implementation
- Perform detailed mechanical calculations, analysis, and verification work
- Support existing production products with technical updates and troubleshooting
- Use CAD software (NX, Pro-E, or similar) to design and refine components
- Assemble, test, and evaluate prototype hardware hands-on
- Analyze data from reliability tests, measurements, and performance evaluations
- Review and resolve supplier non-conformances using root-cause analysis
- Contribute to cost-reduction and cost-avoidance initiatives using data-driven decisions
- Process customer and internal engineering sample requests
- Apply mechanical engineering standards, design principles, and process guidelines
