**AIR CONDITIONED WAREHOUSE**
**Weekend Shift - 6:30am-7:00pm**
**Training on 1st Shift - Mon-Thurs 6:30am-5:00pm Until July 2026**
Position Summary
Operate Time Saver and change programs as needed for different types of material and gauges. Run parts to drawing finish specifications, ensure high-quality, and efficient production.
Responsibilities
- Understand how to check material types and thickness
- Ability to stack finished parts without damaging them.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift.
- Ability to be trained to create and modify programs.
- Choose the appropriate programs for material thickness needing to be run through machine.
- Maintains clear record and documentation of parts produced in ERP
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the machine process, identifying and resolving problems with the programs or machine settings.
- Operate tapping arm to properly tap parts according to drawing.
- Be able to use DA sanding tools to deburr parts unable to run through Time Saver
- Making sure the machine is set up properly, monitoring it during the process and producing good parts.
- Perform math functions.
- Ability to change belts, brushes, and perform daily maintenance/cleaning on machine.
- Works under minimal supervision and are typically required to exercise independent judgment, at times
- Safety and security: is able to observe safety and security procedures pertaining to plant maintenance/repair and use equipment properly
- Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Performs all other duties as directed by Management
Competencies & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing and operating machines
- Experience using software to programs various types of equipment
- Previous programming experience preferred.
- Computer literate with the ability to learn new programming software
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and remain on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
- General knowledge of shop machines and precision measuring tools
- Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Precision and accuracy are essential for producing high-quality parts.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and within tight deadlines
- Extremely organized, acute attention to detail, and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment
- Ability to adapt to the work environment, deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events, while promoting a positive outlook
- Required to wear PPE equipment at all times (ear plugs, gloves, glasses, etc) while on production floor
- Extremely dependable; consistently at work and on time (notifies if late or absent prior to being late or absent), follows instruction, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
