Environmental Field Technician
Great opportunity for an entry level candidate! This position involves environmental sampling of various media including groundwater and soils. Training will be provided. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Sampling various media including groundwater and soils
- Sampling of methane gas
- Recording sampling and reading information
- Uploading and submitting data to designated person and/or place(s)
- Travel to and from work sites
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma minimum
- Mechanical skills or outdoor experience helpful
- Good driving record
- Must be able to drive for long periods of time with stop breaks every two to four hours
- Must be able to drive a vehicle pulling a trailer through city traffic
- Attention to detail & ability to work unsupervised (once trained)
- Must be able to work in outside elements (heat, cold, and around natural hazards)
- Must be able to lift 50 – 80 pounds throughout the workday as required
- Ability to learn and follow procedures of Hydrex Environmental
- Respect team leaders and their decisions
- Travel w/overnight stays (average 15-20 days per month)
- Pass physical, drug test and background check for continued employment
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
