We are a Minnesota based family-owned business with a location in Fridley and an opening for a 1st shift Service Advisor. We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude understanding of diesel repairs, fluid power and hydraulics, detail oriented, a strong work ethic and the attitude to jump in and help out where needed.

SCHEDULE:
1st Shift Monday-Friday 7am-5pm (approx. 40-60 hours per week)

Requirements
Job Duties:
- Provide leadership and direction to the technicians
- Evaluate technician’s skillset and provide training as needed.
- Assist technicians in locating parts / job related issues
- Schedule shift work
- Call in customer repairs, Accurate Estimates and approvals/ unit updates
- Organize shift with parts to pick up and vehicles for repair
- ·Invoice repair orders in a timely manner
- Related activities that promote the goals of the Organization.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Repair and shop operation knowledge with a strong technical aptitude
- Strong communication skills – both verbally and written
- Ability to train technicians at varying levels of experience, skillset and learning styles
- Able to receive feedback on operations from peers, subordinates and manager and respond in a productive and constructive manner with a focus on solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer skills – knowledge of Karmak, a plus
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Hydraulic Experience Knowledge (HUGE PLUS!)
