What are the responsibilities and job description for the Disassembly Technician - Hydraulics position at Hydraulic Parts Source?
Disassembly of hydraulic pumps, valves and cartridge Kits. Vickers, Denison, & Rexroth which includes removal of plugs, seals, orings, and bearings, from the core unit.
- Strip fittings, couplings, hoses and assemblies from cores
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Operate hand and small power tools/equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Use torch conservatively
- Place parts into individual bins
- Hi Lo support as needed
- Provide feedback/suggestion to improve processes
- Perform departmental maintenance
- Maintain warehouse organization
- May be required to work overtime due to fluctuations in volume and staffing
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stoop, bend and kneel, push and pull
- Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 75lbs)
- Standing, sitting and walking
- Performing repetitive motions
