We’re growing quickly in Madison and looking for an Assistant General Manager who wants to take ownership, drive results, and grow into a General Manager role.

The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position that blends sales, operations, and team management. This role offers increasing responsibility and advancement opportunities based on performance and business needs. This role is designed to emphasize first-handedly driving business outcomes in order to grow into full, effective managerial authority.
You’ll work closely with ownership to drive revenue, lead the team, and ensure a high-quality client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop hospitality and sales acumen amongst a team of nurses and front-of-house spa coordinator staff
- Foster a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture
- Support hiring, onboarding, and team development
- Create and manage staff schedules to support efficient operations
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Convert inquiries (walk-ins, calls, online) into clients and members
- Drive membership growth through consultative selling
- Track and manage key performance metrics (conversion, retention, revenue)
- Coach team members to meet individual and team sales goals
Operations
- Oversee daily front- and back-of-house operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and high-quality environment
- Manage retail and non-medical inventory
- Coordinate vendor relationships and facility needs
- Optimize scheduling and appointment flow
Client Experience
- Deliver exceptional service and resolve client concerns professionally
- Maintain strong satisfaction and client retention levels
- Support membership management and communication
Business & Administrative
- Monitor labor efficiency and operational performance
- Support reporting, deposits, and reconciliations
- Assist with goal setting and performance tracking
- Provide regular updates to ownership
Growth & Community
- Support local marketing initiatives and events
- Contribute ideas to improve operations and drive growth
Qualifications
- 3 years of management experience (retail, hospitality, spa, or similar preferred)
- Strong sales mindset with B2C experience
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive results
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High comfortablity with technology (CRM, POS, scheduling tools)
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
