Key Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Spanish fluency required (spoken and written), native speakers preferred
- Minimum 2 years of immigration law firm experience
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent education
- Strong knowledge of immigration forms, procedures, and deadlines
- Experience with USCIS, DOL, and immigration court filings
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications
- Conduct client interviews and gather supporting documentation
- Communicate with clients in Spanish and English
- Assist attorneys with case preparation and court proceedings
- Maintain detailed case files and track critical deadlines
- Coordinate with government agencies and foreign consulates
- Provide compassionate client support throughout the immigration process
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with immigration case management software
- Knowledge of family-based immigration, naturalization, and court representation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
