The role
We're seeking an organized, resourceful Executive Assistant to support the Head of School/CEO and keep daily operations running smoothly. This role suits someone who manages shifting priorities with ease, handles confidential matters with discretion, and brings structure to a fast-paced school environment.
What you'll do
- Manage a complex executive calendar and coordinate travel, accommodations, and related logistics
- Prepare the Head of School and executive team for meetings, including scheduling, confirming details, and arranging catering
- Serve as a professional first point of contact for internal and external communications
- Support the Board of Governors in coordination with the Head of School
- Maintain school calendars and keep competing priorities on track
- Provide general office management and administrative support
- Assist with school-wide events at the direction of the executive team, including Fall Registration, Fall Family Weekend, and Maine Youth Leadership Day
- Back up the Admissions Associate at the front desk
What you'll bring
- 3–5 years supporting executives in an administrative, EA, or office management role
- Excellent written and verbal communication with faculty, students, parents, and stakeholders
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Zoom, and comparable tools; experience with Blackbaud and Ramp a plus
- Sound independent judgment and discretion with confidential information
- Background in a school or professional office setting
