We are hiring an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our growing team! This is a hybrid-remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a strong collaborative presence with the team during in-office days. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will be expected to report to the office 3-4 days per week.
Accounts Payable Supervisor Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and train outsourced payable staff
- Calculate invoice allocations across multiple entities and departments, including intercompany activity
- Pull all invoices from vendor systems timely, including those that are on auto-pay
- Review and approve all invoices for accuracy and proper coding
- Onboard new vendors, including obtaining required W-9s and other documentation, and maintain existing vendor profiles
- Enhance and foster communicative, positive vendor relationships
- Reconcile vendor balances on a monthly basis
- Closely coordinate billable expenses with Accounts Receivables team for cost-plus client contracts
- Review corporate credit card and reimbursement transactions
- Monitor and report on AP aging to ownership and Finance
- Develop and lead month-end close AP procedures
- Communicate cross-functionally as needed between Finance, Operations, and Human Resources
- Review annual 1099 filings
- Escalate AP system issues and partner on solutions
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business or a related field
- Five years of related Accounts Payable experience
- Strong organizational skills, communication, and strategic thinking abilities
- Expert in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, conditional formatting, sorting, filtering, etc.)
- Experience with Bill.com is desired but not required
Salary: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 annually
FLSA Status: Exempt
