Location: Stamford, CT (On site position)

BLT is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Vice President, Commercial Office to lead and oversee all commercial operations across our growing portfolio. This executive role will be responsible for setting the vision, driving revenue growth, and ensuring alignment between leasing, marketing, and customer relationship management to achieve overall business objectives.

Responsibilities Of The Senior Vice President, Commercial Office

  • Lead the strategic direction and execution of all commercial office initiatives, ensuring alignment with BLT’s broader business and asset management goals.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies to drive occupancy, tenant satisfaction, and portfolio performance.
  • Oversee all aspects of leasing, including negotiation of key transactions, tenant retention programs, and broker relationship management.
  • Partner with marketing and communications teams to position assets competitively and strengthen BLT’s brand presence within the commercial real estate market.
  • Analyze market trends, economic conditions, and competitor performance to identify new business opportunities and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance metrics to ensure revenue and profitability targets are achieved.
  • Collaborate closely with the development, asset management, and operations teams to ensure cohesive execution of property strategies.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of leasing, marketing, and operations professionals; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key tenants, brokers, investors, and community partners to enhance the company’s reputation and market position.
  • Regular local travel to properties within the region, with occasional travel to national properties (less than 10%) as needed.

Qualifications Of The Senior Vice President, Commercial Office

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial real estate.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, improving asset performance, and managing complex portfolios.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large-scale budgets and forecasts.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and influence across all levels of the organization.
