Men's Locker Room Attendant - Full Time
Founded in 1909, Hyde Park Country Club has evolved into one of the premier country clubs in Cincinnati. A men's locker room attendant will be responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, organization, and service standards of the men’s locker room while providing attentive and personalized service to members and their guests. The Locker Room Attendant will occasionally assist the House Department with event setup/breakdown and will move furniture of up to 50 lbs. Recent country club, hotel, or other related hospitality experience is required.
Qualifications:
- Attendance and timeliness are a requirement – must be able to work scheduled hours. This includes weekends and some holidays.
- Must have recent, reliable experience - locker room attendant experience is strongly preferred, related hospitality experience is a must.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and strong communication skills.
- A friendly, approachable, and supportive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and polished environment.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
- The ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
- The ability to remain professional and composed in a busy hospitality environment.
- Capable of performing sustained physical activity throughout the duration of each shift. Daily physical exertion includes: (but not limited to) bending, climbing, lifting, standing for long periods of time, and moving up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills required in the English language.
- Adhere to grooming and dress code standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Welcome and acknowledge members and guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
- Provide exceptional service and hospitality throughout each member interaction.
- Maintain the Men’s Locker Room, restrooms, shower areas, lounge areas, and other assigned spaces in a clean, orderly, and well-presented condition.
- Regularly inspect assigned areas and promptly address or report cleanliness, maintenance, or supply concerns.
- Stock and replenish towels, toiletries, grooming products, paper products, beverages, and other locker room supplies as needed.
- Maintain an appropriate supply inventory and communicate replenishment needs to the supervisor.
- Collect, sort, fold, organize, and properly distribute towels and other linens.
- Assist members with shoe service, including cleaning and polishing golf shoes as appropriate.
- Maintain and organize members’ golf shoes and personal service areas according to Club procedures.
- Assist with the care and organization of member lockers and locker room amenities.
- Provide coat, garment, shoe, and other personal-item service as assigned.
- Be attentive to members returning from golf or recreational activities and provide appropriate service as needed.
- Complete opening and closing procedures for the locker room.
- Maintain appropriate cleanliness and organization throughout the shift rather than waiting until the end of the day.
- Assist with special Club events, tournaments, outings, and other activities as assigned
- Conducts deep-cleaning projects.
- Dusts exercise equipment.
- Vacuums elevators; cleans stairwells and landings; dusts ceiling light fixtures; does spot cleaning as necessary; checks drapes for needed repairs and missing hooks.
- Completes other housekeeping assignments made by the AGM and/or clubhouse management.
