Golf Outside Attendant - Summer Seasonal Opportunity!
Founded in 1909, Hyde Park Golf & Country Club has evolved into one of the premier country clubs in Cincinnati. We are currently seeking seasonal Golf Outside Bagroom Attendants for our newly renovated golf course! AM and PM hours available - must have weekend availability. Qualifications:
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills required; able to work well with a team.
- Understanding and general interest in the game of golf.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles is highly desirable.
- Must be able to work at the outside during summer seasonal weather.
- Friendly and supportive attitude towards all club members, guests, and coworkers.
- Attendance and timeliness are a requirement – must be able to work scheduled hours.
- Must be 16 years of age or older and hold a current driver's license.
- Adhere to grooming and dress code standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Job Summary:
Our mission is to offer a welcoming private club experience providing exceptional dining, golf, and recreational activities in an environment where families gather and friendships flourish. Golf Outside Bagroom Attendants will assist with our mission by:
- Greet members & guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and support throughout their visit.
- Brings carts from cart shelter to cart staging area outside golf shop; checks carts for tire pressure, brake operation and other safety concerns.
- Load bags from bag storage room onto carts.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the outdoor facilities, including carts, equipment, and common areas
- Support event management activities such as tournaments or group outings by coordinating logistics and guest needs
- Performs other appropriate duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
- Brings carts from cart shelter to cart staging area outside golf shop; checks carts for tire pressure, brake operation and other safety concerns.
- Load bags from bag storage room onto carts.
- Transport range balls to each end of range and fills appropriate containers.
- Operate tractor and ball picker on range to retrieve balls.
- Wash all range balls daily.
- Remove bags from carts and returns bags to assigned rack in bag storage room.
- Returns carts to cart shelter; remove towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, etc., from carts and saves reusable items; check carts for abuse; wash cart with pressure cleaner; park cart in shelter and connects charger cable.
- Clean all clubs for members and guests; cleans and maintains the club’s rental equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of and order in bag storage room.
