Long-term Substitute Third Grade Teacher - Hyde Park Elementary School

Hyde Park Elementary: "A joyful community of independent learners prepared for an evolving world." Hyde Park Elementary School is seeking a long-term substitute third grade teacher from August 17, 2026, to approximately December 23, 2026. Hyde Park Elementary focuses on strong first instruction, engaging and differentiated learning, strong commitment to meeting the social/emotional needs of our students, and a commitment to families and the community. We are seeking a teacher who will implement and adapt lesson plans to meet the developmental needs of third graders, with a focus on expanding foundational skills in literacy, numeracy science, social studies, and social-emotional development. The third grade classroom will be set up and established by the long-term substitute and will be thoroughly supported by a partner teacher, an instructional coach, and members of the current fourth grade teaching team. Through coaching, participation in school activities, professional development opportunities, and collaborative planning sessions, the teacher who will be in third grade for the beginning of the school year will be supported in all areas by the grades 3-4 team, and the entire HPES school.
