The Project Engineer will coordinate, direct, and implement functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of projects. They will design, develop, and provide technical support to product lines.

You will make an impact in this role by:

• Provide technical support to Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing Departments
• Review Sales and Marketing information and/or customer requirements and advise on feasibility and estimated cost of the potential products.
• Participate in the development of product catalogs and promotional literature.
• Develop assembly and detail drawings, conceptual designs, Bills of Materials and perform respective hydraulic, stress and kinematics analysis.
• Work with Lab personnel on product performance and verification tests, conducts tests if needed and analyze test results.
• Check drawings and design work as needed.
• Assist Materials Department in the selection of vendors.
• Establish product acceptance criteria.
• Work with vendors to ensure the most economical manufacturing processes and tooling.
• Assist the Quality Department in the development of Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Assist the Sales Department in solving field problems, clarifying customer requirements and technical product support.

Skills and Attributes

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

• Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations.
• Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.
• Ability to sure database software, design software, development software, Project Management software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.
• Analytical: Collect and research data. Use intuition and experience to complement data. Design work flows and procedures.
• Design: Generate creative solutions. Uses feedback to modify designs. Apply design principles.
• Project Management: Develop project plans. Coordinate projects. Communicate changes and progress.

Requirements

To be considered for the Project Engineer role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:

• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
