We are seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Supervisor to direct and lead daily site operations facilities in Phoenix Arizona..
In this leadership role, you will work closely with site engineers and lead a preventative maintenance (PM) team of technicians and 24/7/365 shift operators. You will be responsible for ensuring continuous, safe, and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Shift Supervision: Direct and supervise shift control room operators, site operator-technicians, and PM technicians to ensure complete 24/7/365 operational coverage and seamless shift handovers.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure continuous process monitoring and strict compliance with design specifications for UPW, WWTP, and BRF systems.
- Maintenance & Reliability Management: Execute the site O&M strategy combining preventive/predictive maintenance, structured maintenance procedures, and swift emergency corrective response.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Oversee water-quality testing, discharge monitoring, jar testing, chemical dosing adjustments, and ensure total environmental and EHS regulatory compliance.
- Chemical & Asset Management: Monitor chemical inventories, manage chemical offloading/deliveries safely, and maintain oversight of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and SCADA/HMI calibration/servicing.
- Performance & KPI Reporting: Lead daily operations meetings, maintain accurate logs, track operational metrics, and participate in continuous performance and quarterly/annual system reviews.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of SCADA/HMI systems, mechanical/electrical maintenance, instrumentation calibration, chemical dosing, and wastewater regulatory compliance.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage shift personnel, enforce safety protocols, manage scheduled maintenance, and lead troubleshooting efforts during operating events.
- Education / Certifications: High School Diploma/GED required; Technical degree, college coursework, is weekday hours, with readiness to support 24/7/365 facility response and shift oversight as necessary.
Salary : $88,000 - $112,000
