Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Playground Installer to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and finishing of outdoor play structures and recreational equipment across various construction projects. You will help create safe, engaging, and durable playground environments that inspire joy and activity for communities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on diverse construction projects.
We cover the entire state of Louisiana so you must have the ability to travel for work.
Duties
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise installation of playground components and safety surfacing.
- Assemble and install playground structures, including swings, slides, climbing frames, and other recreational equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform site preparation tasks such as concrete forming, footing installation, and groundwork to ensure stable foundations for structures.
- (Not Required) Operate heavy equipment safely for excavation, lifting, and material transport as needed on outdoor work sites. (Not Required)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and hazard awareness.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction is preferred but not necessary.
- The ability to read construction plans is preferred.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools.
- Experience with installation of building materials such as concrete forming is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with safety protocols specific to outdoor construction sites and playground installations.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret site plans for precise assembly.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
