Position SummaryOur client is a well-established engineering firm that has provided environmental consulting, engineering, and remediation services since 1985. The Environmental Project Manager leads Brownfield redevelopment initiatives, including environmental site assessments, remediation, redevelopment planning, and incentive coordination. This role ensures regulatory compliance, aligns project delivery with client goals, and supports sustainable redevelopment outcomes.This position includes a sign-on bonus to assist with relocation, where applicable.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of Brownfield redevelopment projects, including site assessment, remediation, design, and constructionAdvise clients and municipalities on redevelopment incentives and funding opportunitiesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including EPA, CERCLA, and state Brownfield programsCollaborate with developers, municipalities, community stakeholders, and environmental consultantsLead and support proposal development and business development initiativesDevelop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans to ensure on-time, on-budget deliveryIdentify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues proactivelyEstablish project goals and support QA/QC standards across deliverablesLead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, environmental scientists, planners, and contractorsMaintain ongoing client communication throughout the project lifecyclePrepare client billing documentation and manage accounts receivable on assigned projectsIdentify additional scope, revenue opportunities, and service expansion opportunitiesMentor staff and cultivate strong internal and external working relationshipsPerform other duties as assignedMust-Have Qualifications5–10 years of direct Brownfield redevelopment experience, including Phase I and Phase II site assessments and remediationMinimum of 5 years of project management experienceBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related fieldStrong working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations (EPA, CERCLA, and state Brownfield programs)Stable work history with demonstrated success in client relationship management and project deliveryNice-to-Have QualificationsExperience advising clients and municipalities on redevelopment incentivesBusiness development and proposal-writing experienceProven mentoring and staff development skillsFamiliarity with financial management, including budgeting, cost tracking, and collectionsAdditional InformationWork Model: Hybrid schedule (2–3 days in office per week; remaining days remote)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; overtime as needed; local travel to job sites requiredSalary Range: $120,000 – $130,000 base salaryBonus: Up to 15% performance-based bonusRelocation: Limited relocation assistance available; may include a sign-on bonusBenefits401(k) with profit sharingMedical, dental, and vision insurance (effective first of the month following 30 days of employment)Short-term and long-term disability and life insuranceMaternity and paternity leavePaid Volunteer Time OffTuition assistanceFitness reimbursementHybrid work scheduleInterview ProcessPhone interview with SRG Professional RecruiterCandidate submission to PEA Group HR and hiring managersIn-person onsite interview(s) with PEA GroupExpect 2–3 total interview rounds
