The Manager Select Hotels Finance is responsible for overseeing and performing hotel accounting functions, for hotels in the U.S. and Canada, supported by the Shared Service Center. In addition, the Manager Select Hotels Finance will be responsible for process development and improvement for hotel accounting with a focus on the HSSC General Ledger department and serve as a Subject Matter Expert for hotel ownership groups and senior Hyatt leadership.

Essential Functions:
- Develop, implement, and instruct on new processes and procedures in accordance with Hyatt Standards and GAAP accounting guidelines to create efficiencies for hotel accounting and the HSSC General Ledger department.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and overseeing the work of the hotel accounting team, as well as collaborating with the HSSC General Ledger team adjusting priorities as needed to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
- Provide financial guidance and support to general managers.
- Review and approve balance sheet reconciliation.
- Oversee and ensure internal audit standards are met.
- Complete financial audits.
- Participate in employee events, onsite meetings, hotel visits and industry conferences as needed.
- Work with all finance teams on special projects.
- Regular attendance is expected based on schedule and business needs.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.

Qualifications
Experience
- 5 years' experience in accounting or related field required
- College degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA or Similar preferred
- Ability and willingness to work and learn in a fast-paced corporate environment for a publicly traded company.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- To work remotely, you must be able to adhere to our IT requirements, including, but not limited to the following: High Speed Internet service required. Broadband technologies allowed are DSL, Cable, and Fiber-Optic. All other ISP (Internet Service Provider) technologies are not allowed, including cellular based services. Colleagues will be required to provide Hyatt with adequate certification of service from provider (upon request).
