Qualifications
- Prepare and serve beverages (coffee, latte, espresso, teas) using an industrial espresso machine
- Handle cash transactions in accordance with the property’s cash handling policy
- Have a deep knowledge about the hotel and local area
- Anticipate customer needs when assisting all guests with their orders to ensure a positive experience
- Follow all company policies and procedures in regards to cash handling, food and beverage preparation, safety and daily operation of the restaurant
- Prepare all orders according to company standards while meeting or exceeding speed of service and quality expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized guest environment as well as a clean and organized workspace
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of menu
- Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in appropriate POS system
- All other tasks and duties as assigned
- 1-2 years of barista knowledge
- Previous hospitality experience preferred
- Experience in a high volume restaurant is a must
