The hourly rate for this role is $21.25 per hour.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME IN THIS ROLE?
Below items encompass several anticipated responsibilities, though they are not limited to:
Whether traveling for business or pleasure, Hyatt Regency Portland has everything a traveler could need under one hotel roof with over 600 guest rooms, 16 suites and over 39,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. You will rest comfortably in spacious rooms and suites. Enjoy delicious breakfast at Bridgetown, fresh brewed coffee from Portland Coffee Roasters and homemade pastries at The Market or meet for drinks at Spoke & Fork Bar. Reenergize in the 24-hour StayFit™ Gym or enjoy a run along the Willamette River. If you are hosting a meeting or event, our hotel sits directly next to the Oregon Convention Center which houses 328,909 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space.

- Clean and maintain public areas according to hotel standards and procedures.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping.
- Occasional responses to guest requests
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Adhere to established procedures for handling lost and found items and guest belongings.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping team members and departments to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient operations.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs of weight, including linens and supplies
- Ability to push and pull a cart of up to 50lbs of weight
- Full open availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
