This position is fast-paced and team-oriented, requiring excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. The Houseperson helps stock supplies, assist Room Attendants, and respond to guest requests—making sure both colleagues and guests feel supported and cared for.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of hotel common areas and back-of-house spaces
- Stock housekeeping closets and supply carts
- Respond promptly to guest housekeeping-related requests
- Support Room Attendants with linen, trash, and supply removal
- Deliver requested items such as cribs, rollaways, and amenities to guest rooms
- Assist with any additional duties assigned by Housekeeping leadership
- Must be available to work weekends.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (up to 50 lbs)
- Must be able to stand for long periods and walk for the majority of the shift
