What You’ll Do:

As the Houseperson, you will:

• Make rounds through the halls each shift to ensure public areas are clean and tidy, taking care to remove or replace anything out of order.
• Coordinate and help housekeeping with heavy lifting and priority requests.
• Use your watchfulness to report missing or found articles and any sign of damage or needed repair.
• Be graciously attentive to guests, answering questions and getting additional help when it’s needed.
• Communicate and work closely with Housekeepers and Supervisors to ensure successful teamwork on the shift and turn of rooms on a daily basis.
  
  

This position’s hourly rate is $20.50/hr. This position is eligible to earn overtime, shift differentials and premium pay under certain circumstances, tips, commissions, service charges, or incentive awards.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in a hotel setting or similar role is helpful, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
• Must be able to work flexible hours, 9am-5:30pm or 3pm-11:30pm and weekends/holidays
• Hyatt brand experience beneficial
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
