Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Hyatt policies and local financial regulations.
- Assist in variance analysis to support strategic financial planning.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely closing of accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Oversee Olympia/Productivity function for Hyatt Regency Houston Downtown.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, financial regulations, and Hyatt’s financial policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing necessary financial documentation.
- Maintain proper financial records and ensure adherence to internal controls.
- Work closely with department heads to provide financial insights and support in decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenses to maintain financial stability.
- Identify areas for cost savings and operational efficiencies without compromising service quality.
- Assist the team with Month-end closing and ensuring financial success of both properties.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel financial systems (e.g., Opera, Oracle or similar).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
