The Event Setup Houseperson is responsible for setting up and breaking down all meeting spaces with tables/chairs/water, etc. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions, while adapting and pivoting where needed to client requests and changes.
The hourly rate offered for this position ranges from $17.50/hour to $18.03/hour. The starting rate for this position is $17.50/hour.
This position earns additional compensation from event-based service charges, and may earn additional compensation from gratuities designated at the guest’s discretion.

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Must have physical stamina to lift, push, and pull up to moderate weight.
- Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule of AM, PM, and overnight shifts, holidays, and weekends.
- Previous experience in Event Setup and/or in Banquets is preferred.
