Duties include, although not limited to:
- Responsible for short and long-term planning and the management of the Food and Beverage operations in the front and back of the house
- Knowledge and focus on technology, specifically integration of AI into the operation for efficiencies
- Develops and recommends budgets, marketing plans, and objectives, and manages operations within approved plans and budgets
- Participate in total hotel management as a member of the hotel Leadership Committee
- Implement and maintain F&B sales/marketing programs
- Direct and oversee development of colleagues
- Hire, train, empower, coach, and counsel team members; conduct performance evaluations and salary reviews
- Direct the implementation and management of payroll, reporting, forecasting, inventory control, and budgeting for food and beverage operations.
- Coordinate food and beverage operations with other hotel departments to ensure seamless and efficient guest service
- Address and resolve guest concerns promptly to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and maintain service excellence
- Develop and implement procedures that enhance both guest and colleague satisfaction
- Oversee quality control standards for all food and beverage offerings
- Maintain Hyatt service standards and ensure consistent execution across all operations
- Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt corporate standards
- Ensure responsible beverage service and compliance with DABS licensing, permitting, and alcohol service regulations
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with Corporate staff
- Coach and counsel colleagues to uphold Hyatt service standards, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and collaborate with individuals from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and disability backgrounds.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience within the hotel or hospitality industry, preferably with Hyatt.
- Service-oriented leadership style with strong professional presentation and communication skills.
- Proven leadership ability with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
- Possess key strengths including high energy, entrepreneurial mindset, motivational leadership, and a proven track record managing high-volume operations.
- Strong ability to deliver exceptional guest service while driving operational performance and financial results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
- Experience implementing innovative Food & Beverage concepts with a creative and strategic approach.
- Passion for innovation and technology, including experience utilizing AI tools and resources to enhance operations and efficiency.
