The position is responsible for preparing breads, pastries, doughs, and other baked food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding service. Our pastry team works closely together to execute delicious offerings for our guests in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Our Intermediate Pastry Cooks (Cook 2), require good communication and culinary skills. The desired culinary candidate will have pastry/baking experience, and a culinary degree is valued.

The hourly rate range for this position is from $27.50 to $31.79/hour.

Qualifications

• Previous pastry or baking experience in a high-volume production environment
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is valued
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and consistency
• Ability to follow recipes and production standards accurately
• Team oriented mindset with a positive attitude and dependable attendance and punctuality
• Must have open and flexible availability, to include: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
• Ability to maintain high food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
