Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Handle retail sales transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with food handling regulations and café protocols
- Assist with food preparation and food service tasks to ensure quality presentation and timely delivery
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
Experience
- Previous barista experience or background in café or food industry environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, serving, or food preparation is a plus
