Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas. This position oversees daily housekeeping operations, supports team members, and ensures that cleanliness standards are consistently met. The supervisor will work closely with the Director of Housekeeping to implement departmental goals and uphold brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping colleagues, including room attendants and housepersons
Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
Assist with scheduling, payroll, assigning tasks, and monitoring productivity
Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and support
Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues with professionalism and care
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens; report shortages or equipment issues
Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and hotel policies
Communicate effectively with other departments to support guest satisfaction
The hourly rate for this position is between $30-$34. This is the pay range for this position that Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport reasonably expects to pay. Individual pay decisions will be based on factors such as experience, education, and other job-related qualifications.

Qualifications
Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment required
Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
