Housekeeping-Overnight (Full-Time)

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Full-Time. Availability for varied overnight shifts, 11:00pm-7:00am. Weekend availability required.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or similar role preferred.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Friendly and reliable with experience or strong interest in cleaning
• Excellent attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform housekeeping duties as needed which may include cleaning guest rooms or public spaces, laundry, or other housekeeping support roles.
• Receive daily assignments and properly clean and stock areas with appropriate supplies in accordance with policies, procedures and brand standards. Change linens and towels, make beds, scrub bathrooms, vacuum, mop, dust, wash windows, mirrors and walls, remove trash, place amenities, etc. Perform quality checks on television, telephone, heating/air conditioning, lights and other mechanicals.
• Receive and sort soiled towels and linen for laundering. Operate commercial washers. Sort and fold clean laundry and neatly place in designated storage areas.
• Respond to guest requests and deliver items including portable refrigerators, rollaway beds, cribs and amenities.
• Take an active role in understanding and anticipating guest needs to provide authentic and personalized service.
• Ensure a timely response to guest requests and address concerns beyond satisfaction.
• Promptly report any emergencies, injuries, missing articles, damage, mechanical problems and safety hazards.
• Be on time and at work when scheduled, and in proper uniform.
• Maintain a consistent professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests, vendors and associates.
• Report any incidents of guest dissatisfaction and unusual matters of significance to manager / supervisor so that corrective measures may be taken.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, security and emergency procedures.
• Any other tasks / duties as requested by management.
