Responsibilities
- Safely operate standard passenger cars, manual transmissions, and other vehicles within parking areas, ensuring proper handling at all times
- Greet guests warmly, assist with vehicle entry and exit, and provide outstanding customer service throughout the parking process
- Park and retrieve vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and dealership or facility guidelines
- Handle cash transactions accurately when processing valet fees or tips, maintaining proper cashiering procedures and retail math skills
- Perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including heavy lifting of vehicles or equipment as needed
- Communicate clearly with guests and team members to coordinate vehicle movements and address any concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the valet area to uphold a professional appearance at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating standard passenger cars and manual transmissions preferred
- Strong guest services skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Previous hospitality or dealership experience is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Basic understanding of automotive service procedures and cash handling processes
