The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including but not limited to corridors, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms.
Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust and polish furniture and fixtures in public areas.
Empty trash receptacles and replace trash bags as needed.
Assist Room Attendants with preparing checked out rooms for cleaning.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage areas and equipment.
Assist housekeeping staff with the delivery of linens, amenities, and other supplies to guest rooms.
Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department for resolution.
Adhere to all safety and security procedures and regulations.
Participate in training programs and meetings as required by management.
This is an hourly position with a compensation of $22.63 per hour.
