Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Office Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our hotel’s front desk. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of hospitality management. This role is crucial in ensuring guest satisfaction, facilitating smooth check-in/check-out processes, and maintaining efficient front desk operations. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse guests. The Front Office Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment and upholding the high standards of our hotel.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front desk activities, including guest check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy
- Oversee reservations, cancellations, and room assignments to optimize occupancy rates
- Train and mentor front desk staff on hotel policies, customer service standards, biling, and phone etiquette
- Handle and review night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial records and reporting
- Maintain phone systems, ensuring prompt and courteous communication at all times
- Assist with guest relations efforts to enhance overall guest experience
- Monitor front desk operations for efficiency and adherence to hotel standards and handbook
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operation
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality, management or hotel management roles, atleast 2 years of hospitality experience
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and multi-line phone system operation
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred for effective guest communication
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including night audit procedures and guest services
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest requests
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
