Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting.
- Care for floors using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure safety and appearance.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff.
- Follow established safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Support other hospitality team members with additional cleaning or setup tasks as needed to enhance overall guest experience.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments with a focus on housekeeping duties.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with hotel or industrial cleaning standards to deliver consistent quality service.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to health regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly.
