Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary

Hyatt Place Champaign/Urbana is seeking a dependable, friendly, and service-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will prepare and maintain our complimentary breakfast buffet while providing exceptional hospitality to our guests. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in cleanliness, and is committed to delivering outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the complimentary breakfast buffet before service.
• Replenish food and beverages throughout breakfast hours.
• Ensure the breakfast area remains clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize the breakfast area and kitchen after service.
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Maintain Hyatt brand standards and provide exceptional guest service.
• Assist with additional hotel duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Customer service or food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
