Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all surfaces to ensure a fresh and hygienic environment
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies
- Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels according to hotel standards
- Use specialized floor care equipment to polish and maintain various flooring types throughout the property
- Follow established cleaning protocols for industrial and high-touch areas to promote health and safety for guests and staff
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus
- Hands-on experience with cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning equipment, and janitorial practices
- Knowledge of hotel operations or hospitality industry practices enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
