The Role

The Marketing Manager will support and influence the strategic direction of the brands, working right alongside the Head of Marketing, to develop brand partnerships and go-to-market strategies to help our new and existing brands continue to flourish.

With a heavy focus on amplifying and maintaining global brand relevance and differentiation, the Brand Marketing Manager will help guide and collaborate with teams from around the world—from Design and Operations to Communications and Consumer Insights—to develop and market our brands in a way that is relevant to today’s culturally connected guests and offers unique, meaningful experiences in this highly competitive and growing segment. There will be a strong focus on brand partnerships, activations, promotion and oversight of on-property events and collaborations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage global brand plans and marketing initiatives—from partnerships to media campaigns—for the lifestyle brands.

  • Drive strategy and innovation of the brands through thought-leadership and close collaboration with cross-functional regional partners, including:

    • Advising and supporting regional brand and marketing teams on opening strategies and regional initiatives that ladder up to overarching brand plans.

    • Partnering with digital and social teams to ensure that the look, feel, and voice of our brands show up authentically, impactfully, and consistently—no matter the content, no matter the medium.

    • Collaborating with communications leads to inform and guide strategy and approach to brand storytelling and building consumer awareness.

  • Directly manage brand experience innovation workstreams, with the goal of creating, standardizing, and socializing impactful signature, in-hotel experiences aligned with the brand

  • Oversee branded content and asset creation, implementing innovative strategies that break traditional hospitality norms, enhancing brand awareness, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, and maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Lead groundbreaking partner collaborations, developing unique partnerships that expand brand reach and attract new audiences, fostering creative initiatives that elevate brand visibility.

  • Manage strategic and experience agencies alongside head of brand design to develop and refresh brand identity and visual assets.

  • Create brand resources and tools that help educate and arm cross-functional and property teams with the ability to communicate the foundation, spirit, and essence of each of the lifestyle brands (e.g., oversee brand photo video shoots alongside brand design/agency lead, develop SOPs for key signature experiences, etc.) enforce guidelines for property-level promotions in order to effectively govern, educate and roll-out new initiatives.

  • Develop and facilitate brand immersions and trainings with both internal and external stakeholders as well as property teams.

  • Generate comprehensive recaps and reviews for key marketing intiatives to be shared with the wider team, properties and ownerships. Field and analyze ROI and value for new events and partnership requests and evaluate annual partnerships results to adjust YoY to maximize continued ROI.

  • Help manage, plan and recommend on marketing budgets across the portfolio throughout the year.

  • Collaborate and complement PR strategies with Head, Brand PR to amplify portfolio visibility. Assist with PR agencies per-property-basis to maximize success and enhance brand performance narratives.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED). College Degree preferred.

  • 3 - 5 years of experience working at a creative/branding agency, hospitality brand, or as an independent marketing consultant.

  • Demonstrate understanding of a budget, creatively adhering to any limitations.

  • Well organized administratively, able to stay on top of workflow organization, file management.

  • Organized, orderly and excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent visual/conceptual skills with experience in branding and identity.

  • Ability to drive brand strategy development and execution.

  • Ability for brand storytelling and positioning.

  • High standard of creative and attention to detail on all delivery output.

  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and shifting needs.

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of co-workers and sister property staff.
