The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the efficient cleaning, processing, and distribution of all hotel linens and terry. This role ensures laundry items are handled according to brand and company standards and supports the housekeeping team with timely and accurate linen delivery.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
- Hospitality environment experience a plus.
Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50–75 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Good time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of laundry chemicals and safety procedures preferred.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and terry according to hotel standards.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and storage areas.
- Monitor laundry supply levels and alert management when ordering is needed.
- Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and remove items as needed.
- Deliver clean linens to storage rooms or floors as directed.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical use.
- Assist the housekeeping team with additional tasks when needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
