As a General Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of guest rooms, public spaces, meeting rooms, and back-of-house areas throughout the hotel. This hands-on position supports the day-to-day operation of the property by performing preventative maintenance, responding to guest service calls, troubleshooting building-related issues, and completing repairs across a variety of trades.
The ideal candidate will possess a broad maintenance background with experience in general building systems, including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, kitchen, and laundry equipment repairs. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications
- Previous general maintenance experience in a hotel, commercial building, apartment community, or similar environment preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift equipment as needed
