Duties
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly presented
- Replenish food and beverage items throughout service hours to maintain a fully stocked breakfast area
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning tables, countertops, equipment, and surrounding areas regularly
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks in accordance with health regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including warming trays, coffee machines, and dishwashers
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems when handling guest purchases or requests
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality preferred; fine dining or restaurant experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures essential for maintaining hygiene standards
- Ability to handle weight and manual tasks involved in food preparation and cleaning duties
- Strong customer service skills with an in-person friendly attitude towards guests
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and inventory checks
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and POS systems preferred
- Experience with banquet or catering services is advantageous but not required
