Summary
As a Room Attendant, your contribution helps ensure guests an enjoyable and comfortable stay. A Room Attendant is primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways and public areas in the hotel. Room Attendants service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, stock carts with room supplies, replace bed linens and replenish guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures. In some instances this role would also be responsible for conducting ‘deep cleaning’ activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks.

Seeking (3) Room Attendants for 8:00am-4:30pm shift. Each position will have consecutive 2 days off. Weekends and holidays are mandatory. Good faith estimate of schedule will be provided upon hire.

- Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift
- Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards
- Change linens and make guest beds
- Restock all guest room supplies
- Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms
- Clean and sanitize public area spaces as assigned
- Approach all encounters with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Comply at all times with Hyatt’s standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations; including wearing the proper uniform and personal protective equipment
- Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by a leader
Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience preferred
- This position requires strong attention to detail
- The ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally and/or in written form with basic English communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to withstand continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions
