With just over 5,000 square feet of meeting space, this position provides audio visual and technical support to hotel clients and guests related to meetings, trainings, and events when being held on property. Meetings can happen daily, weekly, monthly based on the business demand of client bookings. Some meetings can be scheduled for the full day or half-day increments & this position would require pre/post event set up and break down. The on-call audiovisual tech reports to the Area AV/IT Manager and responsibilities are as follows:

User Experience:
- Provide timely and courteous on-site and on-call support
- Assist clients and internal staff with computer, network, and AV-related issues
- Assess customer needs and provide necessary equipment and recommendations
- Troubleshoot equipment or system malfunctions before, during, and after event
- Responsible for the safety and security of AV equipment at facility
- Perform periodic and scheduled tests of equipment to ensure functionality and address issues expeditiously
- Maintain proper maintenance of all equipment
- Periodically check and maintain reader boards for proper operation and report issues
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of digital audio video control and troubleshooting experience preferred
- Prior hotel audio visual experience a plus
- Teams and Zoom call experience is a plus
- MS Windows proficiency required
- Mac proficiency preferred
- Able to occasionally lift 10-20lbs
- Able to occasionally climb ladders
- Schedule: Open availability including more availability on Tuesdays & Wednesdays with weekends – Schedules to be posted two weeks in advance but potential for pop up meeting requests are subject to happen
- Pay rate: $26/hour
