Summary

Hyatt Centric Key West is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations and leadership of our food and beverage team at Four Flamingos, A Richard Blais Key West Kitchen, and Blue Mojito Bar. You may also assist with or oversee banquet operations as needed. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the colleagues and shifts at Four Flamingos, A Richard Blais Key West Kitchen, and Blue Mojito Bar.
• Oversee or assist with banquet operations, ensuring smooth and seamless service during events.
• Perform weekly payroll duties accurately and in a timely manner.
• Create the weekly schedule and work within our payroll system to post and ensure an accurate payroll
• Coach, train, and onboard new team members to ensure consistent, high-quality service standards.
• Deliver colleague training for service skills and F&B knowledge.
• Assist in maintaining food and beverage inventory and ordering.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to guest feedback or concerns.
• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager and other department leaders to enhance service offerings and improve operational efficiency.
• Foster a positive and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork and growth.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of previous progressive hotel food and beverage experience, preferably in a resort or fine dining environment.
• Prefer 2 years of prior supervisory experience in food and beverage operations.
• Strong beverage knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
