Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team at our prestigious hotel. The successful candidate will work during the PM shift, contributing to a high-quality dining experience for our guests. This role involves working as part of a dynamic kitchen staff to ensure the preparation and presentation of meals meet the hotel's exemplary standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation during the PM shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in the receiving and proper storage of food supplies and other products.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report any maintenance needs or malfunctions.
- Work efficiently under pressure, ensuring guest satisfaction with timely and delicious service.
- Assist in menu planning and development by suggesting improvements and new ideas.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a line cook or similar role in a premium hotel or restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and culinary standards, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Culinary certification or formal culinary training is a plus.
