This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Engineering based in Clermont, FL. The Director of Engineering will oversee the engineering department, ensuring that the property and its facilities are managed and maintained at the highest standards. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring the engineering team, managing maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and optimizing the performance and sustainability of engineering systems and operations within the resort. The role also involves strategic planning and collaboration with other departments to maintain exceptional guest experiences.
- Proficiency in Engineering Management and Team Leadership, with the ability to mentor and guide a diverse team effectively.
- Strong experience in Project Management and Integration to oversee upgrades, installation, and maintenance of systems and facilities.
- Knowledge and hands-on expertise in Software Development and related engineering processes are beneficial for implementing modern solutions.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical issues or opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications or degrees are a plus.
- Experience in hospitality or facility management, as well as familiarity with sustainability practices, is advantageous.
