Assistant Dental Office Manager
We are seeking an Assistant Dental Office Manager to join our established, team-oriented dental practice here in Hyannis. Hyannis Dental Partners has an incredible patient base and care team. As the Assistant Dental Office Manager, your role would include scheduling, hiring, and overseeing production and collections that support profitability.
Schedule: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Strive to provide a superior patient experience
- Support patients within presenting dental treatment plans
- Educates the patient regarding insurance benefits and affordable payment options including third-party patient financing
- Scheduling to patient clinical needs
- Collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Respond to patient billing or financial inquiries
- Collect and post payments and record receipts.
- Balance nightly deposits and complete credit card processing
- Follows-up with the patient between visits for non scheduled, canceled, or missed appointments
- Act with urgency to resolve any patient dissatisfaction
- Excellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks
- Champion company initiatives such as Adit, Recallmax, Aging, and Abella
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of Dental Front Office experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Well versed in Dental terminology and procedures
- Maintains a positive, collaborative, and supportive disposition with team and patients
- Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009
