Job Description:
Hyacinth Clinical Services and Consulting is a private mental health practice focused on serving our community. We are focused on providing high quality mental health care to the community, filling gaps in our community, and providing support to clinicians in reaching their professional goals. We are looking for a psychologist to join our team on either a full or part-time basis. Option available for a hybrid in-person and remote schedule.
This is a 1099 position, meaning that you will be paid based on the billable hour and without taxes taken out. This also means you can determine your own hours, as well as select which clients you would be interested in serving. Clinicians receive a set percentage of all services billed, with clinic portion capped per month. Payment at a highly competitive rate, based on rates provided by each client's insurance.
esponsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to a variety of clients, with referral questions such as: clarifying mental health diagnosis, presence of ADHD, assessing for learning disabilities
- Provide summary reports to clients in a timely manner
- Coordinate with referral sources
- Option to take on therapy clients as desired
- Options to conduct court-ordered psychological assessments, such as parent capacity evaluations, risk for re-offense, and juvenile competency to stand trial
Locations:
- Options to work in Mt. Pleasant office, Midland office, and/or via telehealth.
Qualifications:
- Ability to interact with clients in a caring, respectful, and professional way
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good written communication skills
- Knowledge of how to administer and interpret a variety of psychological assessment tools such as the WAIS, WISC, BASC, NEPSY, DKEFS, and MMPI
- Openness to learning new skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate and work as part of a team
- Interest and/or experience in working with children preferred
- Ability to work compassionately and effectively with diverse populations
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in Michigan - LP or LLP; TLLPs also welcome

Base Pay: $60.00 - $120.00 per hour
