Hy-Flo is a provider of high quality industrial hot and cold pressure washer, diesel fired radiant heaters, and waste oil heaters to name the bulk of our featured products. Most of our customers are saturated in a 150 mile radius of Pittsburg, KS. Job Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated detail-oriented "Inventory Assistant" to join our parts team. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to problem solve, and be good with numbers. Occasional heavy lifting will also be required for motors, pumps, etc.

- We prefer you have basic computer skills, knowledge of QuickBooks, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office.
- You need to have excellent communication, verbal, and written skills. You will be one of the voices of Hy-Flo , answering incoming phone calls. You will be collaborating with co-workers, management, vendors and customers. Thus needing the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Attention to Detail is a must.
- You need to be able to work under pressure. Some tasks are time sensitive.
- We prefer that you have 2 years of Office Experience.
Responsibilities
- Restock field service trucks
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular audits and data collection.
- Source and manage inventory supplies
- Collaborate with co-workers to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
- Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Help in the organization of inventory storage areas for easy access and efficient workflow.
- Assist in demand planning by analyzing sales data and forecasting future needs.
- Sell surplus or obsolete inventory as directed by management
- Ship parts orders to customers
- Receive parts from vendors.
- You would primarily be a Parts Assistant but you would need to be willing to assistant anyone in the Hy-Flo family.
Skills
- Previous experience in inventory management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and root cause analysis.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for inventory handling.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate stock management.
- Proficient in using inventory management software (QuickBooks) is desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and suppliers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
