We are currently seeking an Inventory Supervisor to join our distribution team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our inventory operations while leading and developing a high-performing team.
Position Summary
The Inventory Supervisor oversees all processes related to the receipt, storage, inventory control, and distribution of products. This role ensures accurate inventory management, efficient workflow execution, and compliance with safety and company standards.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who supports daily operations, drives continuous improvement, and ensures inventory integrity across the distribution function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, train, and supervise distribution associates to meet productivity and performance goals
- Coordinate the accurate receipt, storage, and preparation of materials for order fulfillment
- Ensure shipping and receiving documentation is accurate, organized, and maintained efficiently
- Oversee proper product placement and optimize inventory organization within storage locations
- Perform and supervise cycle counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels across onsite and external locations; analyze inactive inventory and report findings
- Maintain accurate product identification, kitting, and un-kitting processes
- Promote and enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations; escalate concerns as needed
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Associate degree or completion of a two-year college or technical program (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or distribution operations
Skills & Knowledge
- Conversational English required; bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Proficiency in computer systems and basic operational tools
- Experience supervising or coordinating warehouse personnel
- Knowledge of industrial and warehouse safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to track performance metrics and maintain accurate reporting
