HX5 is currently seeking an Acquisition Program Manager Senior to join the team at Eglin, AFB in Niceville, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide acquisition program management support across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support)
- Develop, review, and coordinate acquisition documentation such as:
- Acquisition Strategy (AS)
- Systems Engineering Plan (SEP)
- Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)
- Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP)
- Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objectives (SOO), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
- Monitor and evaluate program cost, schedule, and performance using metrics and Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; maintain and manage risk registers.
- Lead or support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), milestone reviews, and technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR).
- Support source selection activities, including proposal evaluation and contract modifications.
- Coordinate across engineering, logistics, test, and financial stakeholders to ensure integrated program execution.
- Prepare and deliver briefings, status reports, and decision support materials to senior leadership.
- Support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and international armaments cooperation efforts, as applicable.
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree and twenty-five (25) years of relevant experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD;
- Master's degree Fifteen (15) years of directly related experience.
- This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance by date of hire.
