Terminal operator at a Hartford Il. Terminal. This job can be physically demanding and offers both outside work in the elements and inside office work. Responsibilities include but ane not limited to climbing fuel tanks, opening and closing valves, receiving and testing incoming products, updating and creating shipping and receiving reports, excell spread sheets, end of day bookwork, balancing sales and inventory reports, training new drivers, maintaining and repairing our 7 bay, 20 arm fuel rack. Must be able to self manage and have strong decision making skills.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must be able to climb steps up to 55 ft.
Oil and gas industry experience preferred but not required
Must be able to follow established processes and procedures
Some mechanical experience required
Must have some experience with standard office software such as Microsoft word, excell
Must have the ability to learn other industry specific software and hardware
Must be physically able to work in the elements and in an office setting
Ability to multi-task, keep to an schedule, think on your feet, attention to detail and make decisions on your own is required
Safely Work with and handle hazardous chemicals such as gas, diesel, kerosene, jet fuel and ethanol
Must be able to work 12 hour swing shifts
